Maintenance That Follows the Manual, Not a Sales Script

Every manufacturer publishes a maintenance schedule, and most also publish a severe-service version for vehicles that tow, idle a lot or climb steep grades in thin air. Driving the I-70 corridor at this altitude usually puts a vehicle on that severe schedule, so we use it as the baseline and tell you where your vehicle sits on it.

An oil change here comes with a look at the things that wear quietly: belts, hoses, coolant condition, brake fluid, tires and lights. If something is close to its limit we point it out and let you decide when to deal with it; we do not bundle extra services into the bill.

You leave with a dated record of the work, the parts and fluids used and the mileage. That record is what keeps a factory warranty valid when the service is done outside the dealer.

What Scheduled Maintenance Covers

The exact list depends on the mileage and the manual for your vehicle.

  • Engine oil and filter

The correct viscosity and specification for your engine, gasoline or diesel, with the filter the manufacturer calls for.

  • Air and cabin filters

A clogged engine air filter costs power and fuel at altitude; the cabin filter keeps dust and pollen out of the heater and AC.

  • Coolant service

Coolant tested for freeze protection and acidity, and replaced at the interval the manufacturer sets.

  • Transmission and differential fluid

Fluid changed at the scheduled mileage, or sooner for vehicles that tow, to protect gears and clutches from heat.

  • Spark plugs and ignition

Plugs replaced at their rated interval so the engine starts easily in cold weather and holds its fuel economy.

  • Belts and hoses

Serpentine and accessory belts checked for cracks and glazing; hoses squeezed and inspected for swelling or leaks.

  • Brake and tire check

Pad thickness and tire tread measured and recorded, so wear is spotted while it is still cheap to address.

  • Service record

A written, dated list of everything done, kept for your warranty file and your next service.

How a Maintenance Visit Runs

Routine service is usually done while you wait or the same day.

  1. Book by mileage

Tell us the year, make, model and current mileage. We look up the service due and tell you what it includes and what it costs.

  2. Service and inspect

The scheduled items are done and the quiet-wear check is completed. Anything that needs attention later is noted, not added.

  3. Hand over the record

You get the vehicle back with a written record and a note of what is coming due next, so the following visit holds no surprises.

Why Maintenance Is Worth Doing Here

A maintenance visit should save money later, not create a long list today.

  1. Warranty-safe records

Work is done to the manufacturer's specification and documented, which is what a warranty claim requires.

  2. Severe-service judgment

We tell you plainly whether your driving fits the normal or severe schedule rather than defaulting to the more expensive one.

  3. No bundled extras

Flushes and additives are recommended only when a test or the manual says they are due.

Keep the Schedule Without the Upsell

Call with your mileage and we will tell you which service is due and what it includes before you book.
